{"id":1271,"date":"2015-12-29T10:40:47","date_gmt":"2015-12-29T09:40:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/?page_id=1271"},"modified":"2016-02-10T23:01:17","modified_gmt":"2016-02-10T22:01:17","slug":"optimisation-rtl2832-sdr-dongle-hardware-canfi","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/?page_id=1271","title":{"rendered":"Hardware CANFI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Description<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lors de la conception et le r\u00e9glage de pr\u00e9amplificateurs RF ou plus largement de cha\u00eene de r\u00e9ception RF, il est indispensable d&rsquo;\u00eatre capable \u00ab\u00a0d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer\u00a0\u00bb l&rsquo;insertion de bruit engendr\u00e9e par le syst\u00e8me en test (DUT, Device Under Test). Il existe pour cela chez les grands fabricants de mat\u00e9riel de mesure des outils que l&rsquo;on appelle des PANFI (Precision Automatic Noise Figure Indicator) tels que les HP8970 ou les Eaton 2075. Le probl\u00e8me de ces outils est qu&rsquo;ils sont difficiles \u00e0 trouver sur le marcher de l&rsquo;occasion \u00e0 des prix raisonnables et il faut souvent compter environ 1000euros pour en faire l&rsquo;acquisition avec les frais de port et de douanes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lors de CJ2015, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe allemande form\u00e9e de DF9IC Wolf-Henning, DL8AAU\u00a0Alexander et DL2ALF Frank a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un logiciel nomm\u00e9 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canfi.eu\/\">CANFI<\/a> (Cheap Automatic Noise Figure Indicator) utilisant un simple dongle DVB-T \u00e0 base de RTL2832 permettant de r\u00e9aliser des mesures de Noise Figure \u00e0 moindre frais. Voici le lien vers le site o\u00f9 ce logiciel est t\u00e9l\u00e9chargeable : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canfi.eu\/\">http:\/\/www.canfi.eu\/<\/a>. Je n&rsquo;ai pas particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration du logiciel (seulement \u00e0 trouver des bugs de fonctionnement qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 corrig\u00e9s depuis) donc merci de bien vouloir voir directement avec les auteurs de ce logiciel pour toutes questions inh\u00e9rentes \u00e0 son utilisation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le montage d\u00e9crit ici est une synth\u00e8se du hardware d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par ces trois radioamateurs allemands (d\u00e9crit ici : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canfi.eu\/downloads\/mmrt14_CANFI.pdf\">http:\/\/www.canfi.eu\/downloads\/mmrt14_CANFI.pdf<\/a>) ainsi que toutes les optimisations qu&rsquo;on peut trouver \u00e0 droite \u00e0 gauche sur Internet pour am\u00e9liorer la sensibilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9ception des dongles DVB-T RTL2832.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Voici la liste des optimisations embarqu\u00e9es dans ce design :<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alimentation secteur avec filtre EMI,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alimentation 28V 70mA command\u00e9 par port s\u00e9rie pour le pilotage logiciel de la source de bruit,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pr\u00e9ampli \u00e0 base de 2 MGA30889 + atten 10dB devant l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e du dongle : les E4000 ou R820 ont un RL particuli\u00e8rement instable et mauvais en fonction du gain du tuner donc ce montage a pour but de limiter l&rsquo;influence de ce param\u00e8tre sur la mesure tout en \u00e9vitant de rendre le MGA instable dans les cas de RL les plus mauvais (probl\u00e8me rencontr\u00e9 par DF9IC),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alimentation 5V ultra faible bruit pour le pr\u00e9ampli \u00e0 base de LT3042,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alimentation 1,2V ultra faible bruit pour remplacer celle du RTL2832 qui est \u00e0 d\u00e9coupage et particuli\u00e8rement bruyante (idem LT3042),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alimentation 3,3V ultra faible bruit pour remplacer la r\u00e9gulation interne du dongle \u00e0 partir du 5V de l&rsquo;USB (idem 2x LT3042 coupl\u00e9s),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">TCXO 28,8Mhz avec filtre elliptique pour injecter une belle sinuso\u00efde \u00e0 la place de l&rsquo;oscillateur \u00e0 quartz du dongle,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Filtre de mode commun sur l&rsquo;USB,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ajout de condensateurs un peu partout sur le dongle,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blindage du dongle,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blindage du pr\u00e9ampli,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;ensemble dans un boitier aluminium extrud\u00e9 et sur un PCB de 10x12cm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les fichiers Cadsoft Eagle ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sur une version 5.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Modification dongle DVB-T R820T<\/h2>\n<p>Pour l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration avec le syst\u00e8me pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ici, voici les modifications \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser sur un dongle DVB-T R820T (certaines modifications sont un peu d\u00e9licates) :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Supprimer le connecteur USB, la LED, le capteur IR, la self L7 (4R7), la diode transil D6, le quartz Y2 et ses 2 condensateurs, le r\u00e9gulateur U4 (3,3V),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Couper la piste de la pin 27 du RTL2832 et relier cette pin27 \u00e0 la masse,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ajouter 10nF + 22uF sur le 1,2V \u00e0 la place de L7 et injecter le 1,2V \u00e0 partir de JP6 du PCB,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ajouter 47uF pr\u00e8s de C1,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ajouter 10nF + 22uF sur la piste juste avant L4,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ajouter 10nF sur la piste juste avant L5,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ajouter 47uF + 10nF pr\u00e8s de C2,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ajouter 47uF \u00e0 la place de U4 et injecter le 3,3V \u00e0 partir de JP5 du PCB,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Injecter la sortie du pr\u00e9ampli issue de JP3 \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un coaxial de petit diam\u00e8tre dans JP2 du dongle,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Injecter les signaux USB issus du PCB \u00e0 la place du connecteur USB,<\/li>\n<li>Ajout du circuit suivant pour l&rsquo;injection du 28,8Mhz dans le tuner R820T :<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1285\" src=\"https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/TCXO_R820T-300x92.jpg\" alt=\"TCXO_R820T\" width=\"300\" height=\"92\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/TCXO_R820T-300x92.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/TCXO_R820T.jpg 548w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le PCB a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour que JP4 (28,8MHz),\u00a0 et JP1 (USB) tombent en face de pastille du dongle R820T. Le plus simple est de souder des pattes de r\u00e9sistance sur ces trois points du PCB puis de mettre en place le dongle dans le boitier en faisant en sorte que les 3 pattes de r\u00e9sistances rentrent directement dans les pastilles correspondantes du dongle. Il est donc recommand\u00e9 de faire toutes les autres modifications avant. Une fois en place, il ne reste plus qu&rsquo;\u00e0 souder le plan de masse du dongle au boitier de blindage sur deux bords.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/R820T_mods.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1288\" src=\"https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/R820T_mods.jpg\" alt=\"R820T_mods\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/R820T_mods.jpg 4672w, https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/R820T_mods-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/R820T_mods-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/R820T_mods-1024x680.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Voici les caract\u00e9ristiques du pr\u00e9ampli apr\u00e8s r\u00e9alisation (S11 \u00e0 l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e du pr\u00e9ampli avec une charge en sortie \u00e0 la place du dongle) :<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1304 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.f4ctz.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/LNA-S11sur-charge-en-sortie-S21.gif\" alt=\"LNA S11(sur charge en sortie) + S21\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/>Le S11 est quasiment le m\u00eame lorsqu&rsquo;on remplace la charge utilis\u00e9e pour la mesure par le dongle DVB-T.<\/p>\n<h2>Utilisation en SDR<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ce montage peut tr\u00e8s bien \u00eatre aussi utilis\u00e9 avec tous les logiciels SDR compatible RTL2832. JE NE POURRAI EN AUCUN CAS ETRE TENU POUR RESPONSABLE DE L&rsquo;UTILISATION QUE LE LECTEUR FERA DE CE MONTAGE : C&rsquo;EST AU LECTEUR DE PRENDRE LES PRECAUTIONS D&rsquo;USAGE.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A titre d&rsquo;information, sur ma propre r\u00e9alisation j&rsquo;ai prot\u00e9g\u00e9 toute la partie haute tension avec du KAPTON et j&rsquo;ai fait en sorte de couper les pattes de composants suffisamment \u00e0 raz pour \u00e9viter que le KAPTON soit perc\u00e9 ou
